2d6 Sci-Fi d66 Tables

As I continue chugging along with Any Planet Is Earth I find myself thinking about what referee tables would actually help me when running the game. I have plenty made up at this point, and I have more to go, but I thought I'd plop out a few of the most generic for the sake of broader usability. Since d6 is the best die, and 2d6 is the best number of dice, and d66 is the best table, and Maze Rats has the best d66 presentation, I opted to go with that formatting.

  1. It is late at night here, and I found this by accident. But I’ve bookmarked it to come back to. As a fan of Traveller and other 2d6 / d6 systems like CT and Maze Rats and Over the Edge I found this a very entertaining read. Generating a starship with the name of “Biased Djinn” made me think of Iain Banks’ Culture Novels. So thanks for this wonderful set of tabular inspiration.

    1. Happy to hear it! I wanted all of these table results to be open-ended and molded by intuition by players. "Biased Djinn" is perfect!

  2. Generated a ship called "Argent Mendicant" - brief, good and inspirational.
This is a useful set of tables. Thank you very much.

  3. Argent Mendicant is such a cool name. Lots of inspiration here, definitely great ‘brain fuel’, especially in such crap times if one needs a good distraction.
